The artist Shazarahel is the author and the creator of this site, as well as the paintings, illustrations and books that are exposed inside of it.
Shazarahel is a Jewish artist of Italian roots who devotes all hes energies to the spread of Jewish kabbalah through different artistic diciplines.
For over 15 years she dedicated hermself entirely to the study of Torah and the original texts of the Jewish esoteric tradition.
Her spiritual quest is at the center of her artistic research, the two languages blend into one another and the artistic talent is put at the service of Torah.
Since 2004 she lives and works in Jerusalem, teaches art and design in some yeshivot, she paints large canvas on commission, and worked tirelessly to create joint activities between artists who combine art and kabbalah.
She meets along the way Patrick Calame, a great teacher and author of an interlinear translation of the book of Psalms and the Song of Songs, done in collaboration with the artist Frank Lalou: his teachings highly kabballistics will shape her approach to the study of Torah.
In the 2004 she comes to Israel and she settles in Jerusalem.
She attends the City of Tzaf, Safed, the ancient city of northern Israel considered by the tradition as one of the 4 holy cities along with Jerusalem, Hebron and Tiberias. Safed is the mother of cities of the Kabbalah, and still flourishes today, the highest spirituality.
The town of Safed is still the heart of kaballistic studies, and at the same time, the home of the artists ... its ancient narrow streets are made of stone adorned by the studies and galleries of hundreds of artists,
artists who, in most cases, they try to reconcile art and the teachings of the Kabbalah. This world of mystic and art for Rahel is the only gateway to a whole series of meetings with great teachers and outstanding personalities who have all somehow, strangely, a connection between art and Kabbalah.
