THE TREE OF LIFE
The Tree of Life is the set of the ten sefirot, ie the ten emanations of divine light in his slow deploy in the creation of our world,the path of descent of the creatures in this world.
The sefirot are also the ten divine attributes by which G’ reveals His way of acting within the universe and through which reveals His will to men.
The word sefira comes from the root SFR which means count (lispor), number (MISPAR), tell (lessaper), book (sefer), sapphire (Sapir).
From the same root is also the Italian word "sfera" (“sphere”).
