The term "philately" means the love of stamps, often accompanied by a passionate collector.
Many include philately among the minor arts, though in fact can not be considered a true art form, there is no denying that it is a very eloquent form of expression and communication:
in a tiny space of a few centimetres are artistically represented messages express the national identity of the people that issues outstanding, and some of them are truly small masterpieces of painting and graphics.
Thus, to know Israel, let’s look at its stamps. To Observe carefully the Israeli stamps is to listen the message that Israel sends to other people, find out how it is told, as Israel understands and communicates himself.
